The internships are unpaid to begin with for a trial period; possible future compensation depends upon experience of applicant. Serious requests will require cover letter and resume. Internship opportunities are available immediately, as our summer internships are over. Math Matters! “I Use it Everyday”

math mattersIf you have been watching network television you may have seen some Peppershock creative work in action. The Idaho State Department of Education launched their Math Initiative Campaign, “Math Matters, I Use It Everyday” PSA’s created by Peppershock this past month. These PSA’s feature genuine Idaho employees at their place of business, using math in their everyday line of work-reminding us that we truly do use math everyday. If you’ve ever tried using your fingers and toes to add and wish you paid more attention in Algebra 1 back in high school, these PSA’s are for you! To view them now click below:

Premiere of Frozen River
Winner of Grand Jury Prize, Sundance, 2008

7pm, Screening, followed by Q&A with the writer/director, Courtney Hunt, and producer Heather Rae
Location: The Flicks, 646 Fulton Street, Boise, Idaho

Cost: $12 – purchase tickets in advance from the Flicks as this event will sell out

It’s the Idaho premiere screening of Frozen River. It won Grand Jury Prize for best drama at Sundance Film Festival this year. The producer (Heather Rae a Boise local) and possibly the director (Courtney Hunt) will be in attendance for a Q&A session.

IMP is comprised of filmmakers, graphic artists, TV crew, many people that use local companies to do business…a great way to get in front of them, all at once is to sponsor this event, if you are interested in sponsoring the premiere of Frozen River, contact Rhea, she is also the co-chair of the IMP Events Committee.
