unxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter this Groundhog’s Day. Don’t let the lack of sunshine put your business in a slump. Peppershock is breaking though the gloom and bringing you inspiration to make your business shine.
You don’t want to miss the events in this month’s newsletter. There’s no better way to beat the cold like warming up to new connections.
Welcome Eva Griffin
Peppershock Media Productions is growing, and so is our staff. Eva Griffin has joined the team as Peppershock’s bookkeeper. She brings more than 30 years experience in full-charge and general ledger accounting, as well as administrative assistance. “I’m looking forward to finding my niche here, helping to serve up that digital spice! How can I serve you?” Eva lives in Caldwell with her fiancé and two sons, age 15 and 14.
Katie graduated from Idaho State University in December of 2007 with a B.A. in Mass Communications, and an emphasis in advertising and public relations. During her internship she will assist in graphic design and marketing efforts. Although not a traditional intern, Katie hopes to expand her knowledge in marketing and design as well as gain great experience.
Craig is a native Idahoan, raised all his life in Boise. He went to the same elementary school for seven years, the same junior high and high school for three years; Craig’s roots in Boise have settled deep. After graduating from Borah high school with honors, Craig attended the University of Idaho for two fun-filled, albeit unproductive years. Moving back to Boise in 2003, Craig has attended Boise State University since, save for one year he took off to recover from a debilitating knee injury. Craig will graduate Boise State University with a degree in English, Creative Writing in May 2009 after a successful internship at Peppershock Media Productions.
Although thanking a customer for using your services seems like an obvious way to show appreciation for their business, how you do it shouldn’t be so obvious. Be creative with your “Thank You” notes and keep your business at the top of their mind, as well as at the top of their list.
If your customer does business with many companies, and receives a “Thank You” card from each one, how is your business going to stand out? Here are some ideas.
- Make your gratitude stand on its own. Peppershock can help you create a card with pop-up features. This 3D aspect will literally pop out at your client.
- Give a token of your appreciation. Include a useful trinket that is representative of your business. Be it a magnet, or a keychain, or maybe something more innovative. Giving your client something to remember you by is always a good idea.
- Include a discount. To insure that your client will return, include a discount for their next purchase.
- Ask for a referral. The best complement your customer can give you is a referral to someone else who could use your services.
