Banff Mountain Film Festival Returns to Boise

February 7 – 9, 2010

 

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is stopping in Boise for its fourteenth year February 7 – 9, 2010 at the Egyptian Theatre.  The three nights of films in Boise represent one of the largest showings in the northwest a tour that visits more than 285 communities and 30 countries across the globe.

 

This year’s tour features a collection of the most inspiring and thought-provoking action, environmental, and adventure mountain films. Traveling from remote landscapes and cultures to up close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2009/2010 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

 

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is produced by Mountain Culture at The Banff Centre, and features award-winning films and audience favorites from approximately 300 films entered in the annual festival in Banff.

                                                                                       

Join the Boise Nordic Foundation as it presents the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour and brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Boise, at the historic Egyptian Theatre February 7, 8 & 9, 2010.

 

Tickets are on sale now at all Select-A-Seat outlets, online at www.idahotickets.com or by phone 208-426-1494.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 day of the show.  Student and senior tickets are $12 and a three-night pass is available for $40.  Tickets are subject to Select-A-Seat fees.

 

Dinner and a Movie:  Back by popular demand is ‘Dinner and a Movie.’  On Monday February 8th only, the Reef will host an exclusive dinner buffet prior to the films.  For just $39 film fans will get a ticket to Monday’s films and their choice of three succulent dinner entrees prepared exclusively for this event.  Seating for Dinner and a Movie is limited to the first 50 ticket buyers, so get your tickets early.
