Summer’s Last Stand

A message from Rhea Allen

As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, Labor Day weekend is always a nice time to reflect back on all the memories of the summer. Drew decided to try his hand at bow-hunting while the rest of the family went on a fun-filled adventure into nature in Central Idaho. We began by kayaking at Redfish Lake Lodge on a gorgeous day, hiking into Langer Lake for some fishing, and finally stopping on the way home in Idaho City at The Springs resort for some last-minute R&R. I am always amazed by the awesome beauty that exists in our state, and so close to home. We are incredibly lucky to live in such an amazing place. We definitely worked for our fun this Labor Day weekend, but came home relaxed and rested.
